L’Oursin (‘sea urchin’ en Français)

L’Oursin is a French restaurant, wine and cocktail bar in Seattle’s at the crossroads of First Hill, Capitol Hill and Central District of Seattle, Washington. Since 2016 we have celebrated the flavors of France along with our love of natural and biodynamic wines. Our world class craft cocktail program makes one of Seattle’s finest bars, along with a tasteful collection of Armagnac, Calvados, Cognac and many more French liqueurs and spirits.

L’Oursin is open daily from 5-9pm Sundays through Thursday and 5-9:30pm on Friday and Saturday.

Our cross streets are Jefferson St. between 13th and 14th avenues, across from the Seattle University Championship Field. Street parking is generally available around the restaurant.

Our bar and patio (weather permitting) are always open for walk-ins.

We request that parties with 7 or more people adhere to a preset family-style menu. To make a reservation for 7+ diners, please give us a call or email [email protected] with your details and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Feel free to leave a message if you can’t get through and we’ll get back to you.

Reservations open up one month in advance.

Our corkage fee is $30 per bottle ($45 for magnums), with a two bottle limit per table.

Our beautiful French-themed restaurant space built is available for private events such as weddings, rehearsal dinners, corporate dinners, birthdays and other gatherings with a capacity of 78 persons. We also do the occasional off-site private dinners/catering.
